July 2024 — Present- Designed data-acquiring applications for sensors of different kinds, and a displaying/processing app, in Python, which enable the user to monitor a workstation in diverse ways.
- Strongly exploited the Qt framework (PyQt6) and applied it's event-driven mechanisms in a great number of places.
- Utilized MQTT, to enable the apps to be decentralized, and operate over a network.
- Managed to display the output of many different sensors at once, in real time.
- Implemented separate display logic for different types of "raw", serial sensor data.
- Enabled the user to alter the value of many arguments regarding the displaying and data processing, by GUI-bound parameters.
- Made saving and loading app configurations possible, by a simple JSON persistancy system.

About Me
Hi, I’m Zoltán Jeney, a passionate computer science student at ELTE Faculty of Informatics. I am currently in my 4th semester. My favourite subject and course so far is Software Technology (developing a game in teams, utilizing the Agile software development practice). In my freetime, I also like to code, hit the gym, linux tinker a bit, and play beach volleyball in the summer.
